These halogen MR-16 light bulbs are the bulbs to use in places where it is difficult to change bulbs or wherever you need a very long life bulb. Designed for extra long life they work wherever you would use MR-16 low voltage halogen bulbs but require an extra long bulb life. Rated for 10,000 hours they outlast any other MR-16. Their long life makes them worth the extra cost.
